How to Register for Your Account

  1. Click on "Get Started" button
  2. Fill in information and details to complete the account sign-up process
  3. Select and answer account security questions
  4. You will be prompted to complete a Security Setup: Additional Authentication
      • You will select a method, setup, and confirm your security setup
      • Be sure to fill out all required fields
  5. Submit for approval. Approvals take 24-48 hours.
  6. Place your order
  7. Submit order for approval (This is only required with your first order)

     

When Ready to Order, Choose From:
Plastic Gift Cards

You choose the design and denomination, and we will deliver your bulk gift cards order to your chosen destination by mail.

Email - Digital Gift Card

You choose the design, denomination, and a customized email message for your recipients, and we'll email digital gift cards on your behalf. All you will need to do is upload a spreadsheet with contact information for each recipient. Your custom message can be up to 250 characters.

Prefer to deliver a digital gift card yourself? Request a file of secured gift card links to provide to your recipients as needed. 

How Do I Check My Gift Card Order Status and Delivery?

You can log in to your portal at any time to ensure the gift card status, with information in the "Order" tab. To do this:

  1. Login to your Home Depot Gift Card Portal
  2. Go to Orders
  3. Check the Status column on the Orders page
      • Status will be either "Initialized" for orders received or "Released" for order shipped or digitally delivered.

How Plastic Gift Cards get Delivered
  1. Once your gift card order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number, with which you may access the current shipping status of your order.

  2. Plastic gift card orders receive free, two-day priority shipping. Bulk orders are bundled with gift cards labeled by denomination. Packing slip is also included.
Digital Gift Cards are Delivered in Two Ways:
  1. The Home Depot manages digital gift card delivery:
    We can send gift card(s) to recipients via email on your behalf. You will be prompted to upload a spreadsheet of your recipients’ contact information in your online portal. Recipients will then receive an email notification of their digital gift card with prompts of how to access their funds.

  2. You manage digital gift card delivery:
    If you’d prefer to send your recipients digital gift cards yourself, we will provide you with a secure spreadsheet with digital gift card links and their corresponding security codes. With this method, you are able to send digital gift cards out as needed. Be sure to add the secure link with challenge code to the copy of your email. Recipients will then click the link and use the provided challenge code to access the funds on The Home Depot Digital Gift Card.
Is Gift Card Currency Interchangeable Between the United States and Canada?
In-Store Use

Yes. gift cards or digital gift cards can be used in-store, both in U.S. and Canada, and will process at the applicable exchange rate.

Online Use

No. U.S. gift cards or digital gift cards cannot be used for online purchases on homedepot.ca, and any Canadian Gift Cards or digital gift cards cannot be used for online purchases on homedepot.com.
